How To Start Your Business With Laser Cutter?

2023-12-29

STEP 1. Prepare the material to be cut and fix it on the table.

STEP 2. Call up the corresponding parameters according to the material and thickness.

STEP 3. Select the appropriate lenses and nozzles according to the cutting parameters and check whether they are intact.

STEP 4. Adjust the cutting head to the proper focus.

STEP 5. Check and adjust the nozzle center.

STEP 6. Calibrate the cutting head sensor.

STEP 7. Check the cutting gas, enter the command to turn on the auxiliary gas and observe if it comes out of the nozzle well.

STEP 8. Test the material, check the contour and adjust the process parameters until it meets the production requirements.

STEP 9. Prepare a cutting program according to the required drawing of the workpiece and import it into CNC.

STEP 10. Move the cutting head to the starting point to be cut and press "Start" to execute the cutting program.

STEP 11. The operator must not leave the machine during the cutting process. In case of emergency, press "Reset" or "Emergency Stop" quickly to stop the operation.

STEP 12. When cutting the first part, pause the cut to see if it meets requirements.

STEP 13. Check the auxiliary gas flow while cutting. If gas is insufficient, replace it promptly.

STEP 14. The operator must be trained and familiar with the structure and performance of the equipment and have knowledge of the operating system.

STEP 15. Do not process a material until it is clear whether it can be irradiated or heated with a laser to avoid the potential danger of fumes and vapors.

STEP 16. Wear labor protective equipment as required and compliant protective eyewear near the laser beam.

STEP 17. Keep fire extinguishers out of reach, turn off the laser or shutter when not processing, and do not place paper, cloth, or other flammable materials near the unprotected laser beam.

STEP 18. Follow the general safety rules for operating the cutter. Start the laser in strict accordance with the laser startup procedures.

STEP 19. Keep the laser, bed, and surrounding area neat, organized, and free of grease. Workpieces, plates, and scrap are stacked as required.

STEP 20. After the equipment is turned on, the operator must not leave the post or leave someone to watch over it without authorization. If it is really necessary to leave, please stop the car or turn off the power switch.

STEP 21. Any abnormality found during processing should be stopped immediately and eliminated or reported to the supervisor in time.

STEP 22. Observe high voltage safety regulations during maintenance. Follow rules and procedures for maintenance every 40 hours of operation or weekly, every 1000 hours of operation or every six months.

STEP 23. Observe machine operation while working to avoid collisions caused by the cutter exceeding its effective travel range or by collision between the two.

STEP 24. After entering a new workpiece program, test run and check its operation status.

STEP 25. After starting the machine, you should manually start the machine at low speed in X and Y directions to check whether there is any abnormal situation.

The above pretty much completes the operation of the entire cutting process. Although they are all basics, if you don't pay attention to these basic details, it is likely to cause damage. Therefore, we hope that you will carefully check each part of the work in the future operation process to achieve safe production and avoid accidents.
