1.Stainless steel

Stainless steel has a higher thermal expansion coefficient. When welding, overheating is prone to occur. When the thermal shock area is slightly larger, serious deformation problems will occur. In addition, stainless steel has a relatively low thermal conductivity, high energy absorption and melting efficiency, and good, smooth and beautiful solder joints after welding.

2.Carbon steel

Ordinary carbon steel can be welded directly using a handheld laser welding machine. The effect is comparable to that of stainless steel welding, and the heat-affected area is smaller. Preheating is required before welding, and insulation is required after welding to eliminate stress and avoid cracks.


3 mold steel

The handheld laser welding machine is suitable for welding all types of mold steel, and the welding effect is very good.


4. Aluminum and aluminum alloys

Aluminum and aluminum alloys are highly reflective materials. Weld pools or roots may appear during welding. Compared with the previous metal materials, aluminum and aluminum alloys have higher requirements. However, as long as the laser welding parameters are selected appropriately, welds with mechanical properties comparable to those of the base metal can be obtained.


5. Copper and copper alloys

Copper conducts heat very well. Weakness and local melting are prone to occur during the welding process.
